Our networks and partnerships

As a key element of lifelong learning systems, vocational education and training plays a crucial role in tackling many of the most pressing challenges that Europe is faced with today. At Savo Consortium for Education, we value the international cooperation that shapes our high-quality vocational education and training. We believe that today's education is the answer to tomorrows needs. International cooperation is one of our vital strategic areas.

Our international networks

Savo Consortium for Education is a member of EfVET association and an active member in various other European networks, such as Automobility, InnMain, Xarxa, EMEU and Eurocom Smart.

In addition, we are engaged to collaboration with educational institutions in other countries such as India, China and Russia. The collaboration is enhanced and funded by the Finnish National Agency for Education

Our international projects

Our international project portfolio consists of both mobility projects and development projects. Mobility projects provide our learners and staff with international opportunities. Mobility opens the door to global networking.

Development projects are an opportunity to collaborate with other agents and/or organisations to improve the quality, efficiency, and attractiveness of vocational education and training in general.

At the moment the greatest financial support for our international projects comes from Erasmus+, the European Commission’s flagship education and training programme. The goal of Erasmus+ is to strengthen the fields of education, training, youth, and sport in Europe.

Our international partnerships

We believe in building the future through strategic partnerships and strong international networks. Working together promotes innovation and helps us exchange both information and practices. We want to create new solutions for the needs of continuously evolving society, internationalised labour market and cultural diversity.

We are actively looking for new transnational partnerships. The themes and topics that meet our interests are for example

  • modernising the teaching and learning environments
  • reinforcing the role of digitalisation and innovation in the field of vocational education and training
  • developing the cooperation between vocational educational and business life.

If you have a project idea, please contact us to discuss a potential partnership.
