    International Competitions

    We take part in professional skills competitions at the national and international level. The European EuroSkills and the worldwide WorldSkills are held in alternate years. Savo Vocational College is actively involved in the activities of the Finnish professional national team and it represents one of the most successful education providers.

    Projects

    We actively engage in ERASMUS+ KA210 and KA220 projects, and we welcome opportunities to collaborate on new proposals, particularly those centered around diverse aspects of sustainable development. For example, we have completed the GreenVETnet project (KA220), dedicated to the creation of a green skills toolkit tailored for VET teachers. Additionally, SAKKY develops VET education in cooperation with networks, such as XARXA FP and EMEU.

    Savo Consortium for Education is an official member of Education Finland which is a governmental cluster programme supporting the best education providers in their growth on the international market. The programme is coordinated by the Finnish National Agency for Education.
