    Project

    Project established a methodology for educators’ skills training in some of the key sectors that come with the greatest opportunity for growth of green jobs.

    Key sectors are hospitality management and tourism, business and administration, logistics/transport and construction sector with the goal to enhance the VET educator’s skills and knowledge on sustainability potentials of their own field. 

    In-depth studying of green skills and building future  has been  emphasised in Learning, Teaching and Training Activites (LTTAs) of the key sectors end invited VET teachers or staff.

    Tourism and Catering

    First LTTA, Tourism & Catering,  was held in Rome. Applying GreenComp framework was tested for the first time. Also the digital platform helping to collect ideas was put in use.

    Transport and Logistics 

    LTTA of Transport and Logistics was held in Sweden, where we visited VOLVO truck factory and a department of driver training  where they used simulators to assess driving performances of students.

    Business and Administration

    LTTA of Business & Administration was held in Larissa, Greece. Typical to business education is to study sustainable business models.

    Energy saving construction

    Energy saving construction was the last theme of LTTA held in Finland. It was organised in co-operation by Samiedu and Savo vocational colleges.
